It's an RPG called Star Epic, it'll be public domain and all art is being credited. It happens to be set in the 24th Century JJ-verse, and guess what the player character ship is suggested to be

At the moment I'm a one-man operation. I've been a freelance writer for years and have always loved RPGs. One of my gaming group asked me to please run a Star Trek campaign when it came my turn to GM.
Three months later, I'm nearly done with a supplemental rulebook for d20 3.5. The project will be public domain and hopefully I won't be the only person working on it for long. I'm going with Public Domain instead of Creative Commons because I want to use actual Star Trek terms (alien race names, Starfleet... I have a 4 page history starting with the 1980s ending in 2355... 2355 being the date the Nebula design project was approved by Command).
In short it's a love letter both to the brand, and the fans. It takes place in JJ's universe and things are rather different there. There's been no peace with the Klingons... the Treaty of Organia is still the only thing stopping Qu'onos from sending armadas across that particular border.
Most of the art is NASA and similar. Because of that there's next-to-nothing specifically Trek related... the only stuff I feel entirely safe using, is stuff created by fans.
My profile has a link to my Youtube channel which has quite a lot of rambling info from Oct. or Nov. when I first announced the project.
