Rhine Class Tenderby *HandofManos

After being away from Star Trek ships in general I decided, also after watching *Colourbrand's work, to start on a TMP era starship.

In this case a support unit, a fleet tender. These ships resupply starships, outposts and other ships and installations by ferrying personnel and equipment.

Bringing much needed reinforcements and supplies back and forth from the safety of a starbase or major colonised planet to the frontiers of Federation space.

Armed by 8 phasers (4x2 banks) and two phaser cannons (still be added in this image) the Rhine class can stand its own ground but is not capable to engage large warships.

To ferry material and personnel over the Rhine Class has two main shuttle bays located in its stern and 2 secondary frontal launchbays for shuttle and pods deliveries but also has several large docking ports with which any ship that needs to resupply can dock with this ship.

Crewed by 45 an additional 650 passengers can be carried along with supplies.

EDIT2: made several changes detail wise (most notably the plating and the phasercanon in the wing) Also added some more shades since some people noticed it was not that great. Which I found correct
