TIE Fighter Advanced Scout by HandofManos TIE Fighter Advanced Scout by HandofManos
The Tie/AS is an advanced single or dual crewed scout with hyperdrive capability, shields and advanced sensor packages.
Armed with a dual lasers it can defend itself but it relies mainly on its speed to get out of trouble and report back to base.

First time using the new tablet to color this one. Still lots to learn but for a start it aint bad I guess. As such keep in mind I need to try this out much more :)

I really liked the overall solid design. I always liked asymmetrical vehicles and the solar panels and the design of the viewport gives more visibility to pilot compared to most of the other TIE designs. Also the addition of pod makes sense since I always find it doubtful that you can fit all those additional systems the original design lacked (hyperdrive shields etc.) to other designs My only negative comment would be the perspective of the cockpit against the rest of the ship. It seems like the cockpit corkscrewed a little right in comparison to its main hull. I think coloring is quite fine. Maybe you can grow a little bolder with the shadows yet it is an artistic decision rather than a flaw in my opinion. Well done, A very nice ship indeed

to me, it looks a lot like what a real space craft cold look like. Sort of like a deep space probe satellite/drone.

thanks and yeah TIE's have that drone kind of feeling. And this one is more of a manned probe then an actual combat unit :)

If you have played to Tie figther (The first one in the X-Wing game seri with X-Wing alliance the tie figther pilote can watch behind them even in standard tie figther. Compare to more advanced tie, the only advantages are the fuel capacity, long range communication, and the Radom. I thing this thing must have a shield (No shield no hyperdrive...)
It's not really stealh to other radom sensor array etc.. Due to is rradom and nice compact design.
From here I cannot watch the symetrie are left and right side the same?

As stated it is a scout which makes it ideal as a cheap hyperdrive capable ship to send in place of a larger ship. I am not planning to make a side view etc and it is kind of rude to say that there is a need for a side view since people do have imagination and it was never my intention to do so since it was a fun concept to make, and that is all. I find it a shame you do not seem to like that. That is also the reason why I could not accept the critique since it was basically the same to this comment.

As stated in the description it has shields and it has hyperdrive. It also nowhere states that it has stealth... it is a scout and as such it needs sensors to spot stuff...

I did play tie fighter, x wing alliance and all those games were great fun.

But I like the design of the long range radom.. Is that ship able to scan cargaison from long distance?

Yhea I Know No shield= No hyperdrive !

Yhea great fun.. Exept X-WA if you have don't master the system to control your wingamn !!!

This is most excellent work. :)

This looks Pre-Ep.IV to me... (A little rougher cut than the TIE vehicles we're all familiar with)

Thanks and yeah it could be from an era before IV

Thanks :) I rarely work on Star Wars designs so it is great to hear people like what I make when I come around to actually work on them
